I'm so so happy to have discovered the Vivian Amberville series. What a journey! Mysterious people who weave into the fabric of reality, controlling the destiny, history and fate of ALL sentient creatures. A girl who was meant to die, who was allowed to live. Original new creatures, a vast fantasy world all rooted in realism. Magical, absolutely magical journey. What does this book NOT have? And why didn't I know about it until now? Damn, it deserves a much much bigger audience. A true hidden gem of the science-fiction and fantasy genre!
