I got my copy of Vivian Amberville on a fleamarket. It was a battered old copy, which made me believe it was a classic fantasy from the 80s or 70s. Only at the end did I actually check the release date and realized it was contemporary!
Imagine my joy when I heard this awesome story is not some dead-end under-the-carpet fantasy but a series, and a pretty popular one at that. I've started reading all the Blackwick stories in anticipation for the next Vivian Amberville title. I can't wait to read the Book of Chaos!
