How is this book not a movie adaptation yet? Seriously, what is wrong with this world? Everyone screams we want epic, layered and completely ORIGINAL and GAMECHANGING stories, and then they keep on making remake after remake over more of the same. Vivian Amberville is everything that is RIGHT about the fantasy/sci fi genre. It's got torque, it's got originality, it's got grit, and it's layered as heck, to the point of becoming a hyperlinked fantasy/sci fi bible.
It also helps that this infinitely talented author is a jungian and a nietschen, experimenting with very big ideas in this series. If there is any series we should adapt for film, television or gaming, it's Vivian Amberville. Producers, take heart! THIS IS WHAT WE WANT ON THE BIG SCREEN, NOT A 100TH REMAKE OF A REMAKE!
