Found it in my library in Maine, and read it in one go. I was positively impressed by Louise Blackwick's evocative style and the very complex world of her fantasy universe. The book is just flawless but I'm knocking off 2 stars because it's taking too long for the next book to be released (vivian book 2 is scheduled for release this year, 2019). I mean, I understand that the author writes under other pen-names and Vivian Amberville is just one of her many works of fiction, but the world wants the next book so I don't get it why the author is not making Vivian Amberville a priority... end of rant.
