Why so few reviews?

Yes, finally someone wrote something trippy, smart and exciting and it's absolutely fabulous! I love this book to the very core and there's absolutely NOTHING I'd change about it. It's that perfect!
What I don't understand, however, is how can all my friends and co-workers know about it and still so few reviews online? So many thousands of people know about it and I still can't believe it has only a handful of reviews on here, Goodreads and on Amazon. What's wrong with people these days? Why don't they review their favourite books? Come on peoples, let's review it!
Can't wait for upcoming book in the Vivian Amberville franchise, the Book of Chaos.
