Well, first I thought, this little-known author created an original, immersive fantasy world that became an international bestseller which may well rival even the great J.K. Rowling and this, by itself, IS ABSOLUTE NUTS!
But I have to admit that when I first read the book, I also thought: heck, this story is awesome. In fact, it's so good, I wouldn't be surprised if people made a big deal of it.
and then it was like, BOOM SHAKA LAKA! "thoughts became things"
I probably "wove those odds" just as much as the writer did.
