Slow burn but a bright flame indeed

I finally got my physical copy of this book after having it on my kindle for over 5 months. Vivian Amberville is classically split into 3 act part, the first of which being a bit of a slow burn. Parts 2 and 3 however burned with a really bright flame. So bright, in fact, that it stayed in my mind for months before I decided to read it again. Upon my second read, I discovered things I have previously overlooked. Overall enjoyable and very imaginative!
