The Red Eye in the Sky
The Madhad State of Great England was traditionally known for its tyrannical government and its unhealthy censorship of history. Its terrible aversion for Neds in particular had over the decades earned it a golden star in the international book of evil, with special runner-up awards for racism and genocide.
Through their “earmarking” programme and the targeting algorithms of the RES (The Red Eye in the Sky), the Madhads were particularly efficient in scanning people’s thoughts, beliefs and opinions remotely, and storing them in vast databanks called Mind Maps. Those whose thoughts were assessed as improper by the RES algorithms were labelled as dissenters and charged with high treason against the state.
